First Doctors Appointment

So I had my first doctors appointment today and it went so well. We got to actually see the baby. It seems so much more real now. We got to see its little heart beating and to actually see it in my stomach. I really like my doctor too. It was the first time meeting her and I am very happy with our choice. She said that everything looks great and that the baby is developing wonderfully. Our due date is August 20th. I wish I had a picture but not yet. I will keep everyone updated. Yep, I am a slacker!

I know I haven't posted for a while but I have a good excuse. School started again and so that and work has been taking up all of my time. Oh yeah, and I am growing a baby in my stomach too. Luckily I haven't been too sick. It comes and goes. I had the flu for about a week and at first I thought it was morning sickness. Boy oh boy am I glad that that is over. It was absolutely terrible, I kept thinking to myself, "How am I supposed to work when I am going to be sick like this for like 2 months?" But, I am now doing good and don't want to die, which is great. I have my first doctors appointment next Wednesday so I will post to let you know how that goes. Till then, goodbye and have good days.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

Yep, I am pregnant!!!! I am so excited. I am due around August 20th and can not wait. Erica is probably as excited as I am. I called her right after I took the pregnancy test to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I was just so used to it being negative that I had to have some reassurance. So thanks Erica for being there.
We decided to make a snowman one late night during a big snow storm. I think our snowman / snowalien looks great.


Here is our Christmas Tree. The lady that we bought the house from left this in the basement. SCORE!!! It is in great condition and all the red stuff was left too. We did not have to buy hardly anything. Just some lights and that is it. And my mom got us a really cool Nativity set from Jeruselum that we love. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! I wish I could come home and see everyone, but we will be there next year and with a new baby!!!! I love you all and wish you all the happiness and love.

Officially Winter Time

So, this is what I woke up to this morning. A ton of snow!!!! Shadow absolutlely loves the snow, but then he comes inside and is freezing because he is wet. He is pretty cute if I do say so myself.

I am so thankful for the covered parking. I hate scraping snow off the car.
This is our lovely snowy street. Much different than the one I grew up on.
He had little icicles all over his little body. He is looking at me like he is done taking pictures and he wants to go inside and get warm.

I also have to say happy birthday to my sweet niece McKenna. She turned 6 on Tuesday and I wish that I could have been there. We did just see them when we went home for Thanksgiving but it is never long enough. I love that little girl so much and I miss seeing her grow up. At least we have this now so I can see all the pictures and kind of feel like I was there. I love you McKenna.

Happy Anniversary Shawn!

So, it is our 4th anniversary tomorrow! Yeah!!! I can't believe it has really been 4 years. Shawn is the best thing I could ever ask for in a husband, best friend, and roommate. We have so much fun together and I love him more and more everyday. Here is to another 4 years and many, many, many, many more to come. I love you Shawn. Happy Anniversary. P.S. I hope there are flowers when I get home or else (shaking fist angrily). I am totally kidding, you are the best.

HALLOWEEN 2007!!!

Ok, ok.

So I am getting hounded by my lovely sister and now my mother to make a new post. So here you go.

I have been super busy with my new job and school and such. The new job is going good. Last week was my first full week and it went good. It is always weird getting into the swing of things but I think it is going to be a great fit for me. School is school and not much exciting things to say about that, so lets move on. My puppy Shadow is losing his teeth. I don't remember Oscar losing his teeth, but I could have been too young when that happened. I didn't realize that dogs lose thier baby teeth to. It is so cute, he lost just his bottom and upper front teeth like a little girl would. I will try and take a picture for you to see. Other than that, there is nothing new to say. We will be coming down to Arizona for Thanksgiving and I am so excited to see everyone. I will try to keep up on my posting for you guys also.

10 inches is a lot of hair to cut off!

So I decided to chop my hair off today. It was soooo long and had been for a long time. So I decided it was time for a change. And a big one, at least for me. Here it is before I went this morning.



And here it is after chopping 10 inches off, which got donated so that makes me happy.

Tell me what you think. It is going to take me some time to get used to but I think I like it. Crazy, or not?

Oh, the main reason I thought it would be fun to have a change is because I got a new job. My good friend Tony works in the Accounting department at a company called TW Company. He really wanted me to come interview and see if maybe I would be interested in a job there. At first I didn't really even want to interview because I had a good job as the Controller for Rimrock. But he conviced me to go and was even more convincing at the actual interview. I will be doing the same thing that I did for Rimrock so I decided to take it. It couldn't have come at a better time and it is going to be a great blessing for me and Shawn. I have to thank my mom for listening to me weighing out my options, she was great and her advice is always the best. Love you mom.
