Art Project

So Shawn and I spent about 8 hours cleaning our kitchen on Saturday. We did a real "spring cleaning" if you will and it looked super white when we were finished. It needed something. So we came up with this art project to do. These windows had some terrible lace curtains on them before with these white pull-down shades. We decided we would put some of our art on them to spruce them up a bit. Shawn drew the trees and birds with a pencil and then we both took one to paint, and here is the outcome. It was a lot of fun to do and I think it turned out pretty good. Enjoy!

This one is the one that I painted.

This is Shawn's.

And here they are together up in the window's.

New Pictures

I don't really have much news but I thought I would post some new pictures of Owen. He is still cute!

So sleepy and cuddling with Batman.

Owen, Dad, and Shadow on St. Patrick's Day.

We love St. Patrick's Day and if you don't wear green, expect a pinch from us.

Owen is 7 months old!!

My little boy turned 7 months old. I can't believe how fast it has gone by. I love this kid soooo much. He has been such a blessing to us. He is super easy going and I just love to hang out with him and just look at him. It has been quite a crazy couple of months. Both me and Shawn got laid off from our jobs on Friday the 13th if you can believe it. So that was a bit of a hard time, but we are getting through and will be fine. My dad flew me out to AZ to help with some accounting. It was so great to see my family and of course they loved to see Owen. Poor Shawn had to stay home all alone, but he had an art job to do so at least he was busy with something. Oh, I am going to be participating in this years MS Bike Tour this June. I need to raise money for it so if anyone wants to donate, email me at ylindsie@hotmail.com and I will give you the information.

Hanging out with the boys.

Owen doesn't know how to make her feel better. It looks like he is putting his little hand on her knee as if to say, "It's going to be ok Emmy."

Thanks for feeding me Uncle Landon!

Owen LOVES Mckenna. She was making him laugh so hard the whole time we were there, and he would just stare at her. We love you Mckenna.

Uncle Joey playing with Owen.

He was in Camber's room and Joey and her were playing with him. He was super tired because we had just gotten off a plane and it was way past his bed time. But they were still able to get him to laugh.

He is getting so big, well not in size but he is growing in other ways. He is a little tiny thing. He is 7 months old now, and he still wears 3-6 month clothes. I love my little peanut boy.

In dad's hat. I am sure it won't be the last. He doesn't mind having hats on his head, just like his dad.

Too cute!

This was on his 7 month birthday. I could just eat him up.

Mom attack.
