Owen is 4 months old today.

Sorry in advance for so many pictures. But I have to put a lot on here for my mom and sisters to see Owen. He is 4 months old today and I can't believe how fast the time has gone. He has been so much fun and I have loved watching him grow. I love him more than I ever thought I could love someone. He makes me so happy when I look at him and especially when he smiles back at me. He is so funny too. He does this angry thing where he clenches his fists and grunts real loud. Me and Shawn just laugh at him when he does this and I think that makes him more angry. But most of the time he is happy and smiling, usually with his whole hand in his mouth covered in slobber. He is one slobbery boy. As you can see below.

He was so intent on geting something out of my chin, but nothing came. He has a super strong grip, an just look at the expression on his face. Should I be scared??
Awwww, looks like we took one too many pictures huh?

Oh I guess it was two too many.

But then he does this face, and nothing else matters. This face says to me, "I know I am cute, and if I do this face, I can get away with murder".

Here he is making noises with his mouth which he does all day long. Love the double chin.

"Oh what, were you looking at me?"

The shoes are still a little big, but I couldn't help myself. They just completed the outfit.

Just one of the many cute pictures of him. I have taken like a million pictures so it is hard to choose which ones to put on here.

We went to get him this little chair so he could sit up better and all they had was pink. So he gets to have a cute little pink chair.
We will be coming down to AZ in two weeks, and we are so excited about it. Can't wait to see everyone then.

Week of the animals

So last weekend, Shawn was outside cleaning up the yard. We have a ton of bushes on the side of our house. He came inside and said, "I don't know if you want to know this, but I found a dead cat in our bushes." Luckily, Owen was asleep so I ran outside to see what I could do. There was no hope for the cat unfortunately. As we were taking car of it, we heard little meows coming from somewhere in the forest of bushes. I jumped in and tracked down where it was coming from and pulled out these two adorable little kittens. Ofcourse it was the day after Thanksgiving so a lot of places were closed. Luckily, the Humane Society was open and I ran them over there so they could take care of them and give them a home. I wish I could have kept them, but we are all allergic to cats. I swear I should have been a vet. Maybe someday I will own an animal shelter or something. I just love animals so much, I don't know what it is. I am just glad that we found these little guys before they became victims of the cold weather too.

Now onto a creature that is not as loveable as kittens. I went out to get the mail today and saw this on my front porch. I have never seen a spider like this in my life. It is huge and such a strange color. This picture does not do it justice. I had to get a pen so you can see the size of this beast. Scccaaaarrrrryyyyy! Too bad it is not Halloween anymore. I mean, black cats and spiders. How much more Halloweeny can you get?
