It's my best friends birthday today!

So it is Shawn's 28th birthday today and I wanted to tell him how much I love him. He is the best friend I could have and the best husband also. He is so much fun to be around and we always have a good time together. He is the best artist I know and still continues to amaze me with every new sketch he does. I am jealous of his creativity and the fact that he still acts like a kid. He never lets anything get to him and always looks to the bright side of things. I need that. He really loves our dog, even though he REALLY didn't want one to begin with, but he loves him almost as much as me I think. I think it is so cute to see how he treats him. Seeing that reminds me of what a good father he will be. Not now, no I am not pregnant. But someday. Shawn, I love you so much and thank you for always making me smile. I Love You!

And Happy Birthday to my brother-in-law Kirk also. How convenient that my only brother-in-law has the same birthday as my husband. We will never forget it. We love you Kirk.

Finally joining the blogging world.

Well, you can thank my sister Erica for pressuring me into starting this blog. Even though my life is pretty boring (no kids) right now, she still really wanted me to have one. I guess I should fill everyone in on what is going on in my life. I am married to Shawn Bird and we have been married for almost 4 years now. He is a brilliant artist and person. He works at a company called Sensory Sweep where he does art for video games. He loves it and is moving up really fast. I am working at Rimrock Construction where I am the controller. It is great experience for me. I only have 4 classes left until I get my Bachelor's in Accounting. I have been forced to do it slowly because of my full-time job. I know, growing up is so hard.
Me and Shawn just recently bought our first house in Midvale Utah. We love it! It needs a little work but nothing too serious. Mostly aesthetic fixes. We also got a little puppy. His name is Shadow and he is a Shih-tzu. I just missed my Oscar so much that I had to get a replacement. He has been good, still using the house as a toilet but what is a girl to do. Well, I hope I can figure all this crazy blogging stuff out. I will post soon.
