Ok, ok, ok. The long awaited post.

Well, I have been hounded from my lovely sisters to post new pictures so they can see prego Lindsie since we don't get to see eachother. So here you two go. The pregnancy has been going great, I feel really good and honestly have no complaints. 12 more weeks to go! I can't believe how fast the time has gone.

Another awesome thing that happened was that I graduated!! Yeah finally. I graduated with my Bachelors in Accounting and it feels great. The timing could not have been better either. So since I am not bogged down with homework all the time, I have been able to try and get Owen's room ready. We have been moving the rooms around and it has actually been quite fun. It is just nice to be able to do what I want with my time instead of always having to do homework.

Well, I am looking forward to seeing everyone in July.

Prego!!

Here is what I look like now. I am 4 1/2 months now and we found out that we are having a BOY!!! We are really excited about it. I have some ultrasound pictures that I will try and get on here this weekend. He is definately a boy and his name will be Owen. He looks great and there are no problems to speak of right now which was very relieving. If you haven't e-mailed me yet, please do with your address so Erica can send you a baby shower invitation. I can't wait for that, it will be a lot of fun to see everyone.

Baby Shower

Hi everyone. I know I haven't posted in a long time but things have been really crazy. To make it short, my company is struggling pretty bad so I am most likely changing jobs, we have a broken pipe that we have to fix, I am still in school (although I will be graduating in April :)), and the list goes on and on. Why does everything bad always happen at once is what I want to know.

Anyways, I am going to be coming to good old Arizona on the 4th of July weekend because my sister is throwing me a baby shower. If you could all e-mail me your addresses so I can give them to her that would be awesome. My e-mail is ylindsie@hotmail.com. I can't wait to see everyone then.

Oh yeah, we find out what we are having tomorrow so I will be posting then to let everyone know.

So this is Shawn's art interpretation of the baby. After our first appointment he was inspired to draw this picture. We are so excited for this new little addition to the family and can't wait for all the new changes. I have just barely started to show a little and it is fun. I am about 12 or 13 weeks now and am feeling pretty good.
We are going on a cruise in a couple of weeks to Cabo and we are so excited about it. It is a short 3 day trip but it will be so worth it. I am getting my legs and bikini area waxed for it and I have never done it before but I figure I should so I don't have to worry about shaving the whole time. I am a little nervous about it so if any of you have done it before and can give me some advice, that would be great.

First Doctors Appointment

So I had my first doctors appointment today and it went so well. We got to actually see the baby. It seems so much more real now. We got to see its little heart beating and to actually see it in my stomach. I really like my doctor too. It was the first time meeting her and I am very happy with our choice. She said that everything looks great and that the baby is developing wonderfully. Our due date is August 20th. I wish I had a picture but not yet. I will keep everyone updated. Yep, I am a slacker!

I know I haven't posted for a while but I have a good excuse. School started again and so that and work has been taking up all of my time. Oh yeah, and I am growing a baby in my stomach too. Luckily I haven't been too sick. It comes and goes. I had the flu for about a week and at first I thought it was morning sickness. Boy oh boy am I glad that that is over. It was absolutely terrible, I kept thinking to myself, "How am I supposed to work when I am going to be sick like this for like 2 months?" But, I am now doing good and don't want to die, which is great. I have my first doctors appointment next Wednesday so I will post to let you know how that goes. Till then, goodbye and have good days.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

Yep, I am pregnant!!!! I am so excited. I am due around August 20th and can not wait. Erica is probably as excited as I am. I called her right after I took the pregnancy test to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I was just so used to it being negative that I had to have some reassurance. So thanks Erica for being there.
We decided to make a snowman one late night during a big snow storm. I think our snowman / snowalien looks great.


Here is our Christmas Tree. The lady that we bought the house from left this in the basement. SCORE!!! It is in great condition and all the red stuff was left too. We did not have to buy hardly anything. Just some lights and that is it. And my mom got us a really cool Nativity set from Jeruselum that we love. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! I wish I could come home and see everyone, but we will be there next year and with a new baby!!!! I love you all and wish you all the happiness and love.

Officially Winter Time

So, this is what I woke up to this morning. A ton of snow!!!! Shadow absolutlely loves the snow, but then he comes inside and is freezing because he is wet. He is pretty cute if I do say so myself.

I am so thankful for the covered parking. I hate scraping snow off the car.
This is our lovely snowy street. Much different than the one I grew up on.
He had little icicles all over his little body. He is looking at me like he is done taking pictures and he wants to go inside and get warm.

I also have to say happy birthday to my sweet niece McKenna. She turned 6 on Tuesday and I wish that I could have been there. We did just see them when we went home for Thanksgiving but it is never long enough. I love that little girl so much and I miss seeing her grow up. At least we have this now so I can see all the pictures and kind of feel like I was there. I love you McKenna.
